What are Mind Machines?
Mind machines are electronic devices that can influence one's mental state,
especially when used with other techniques such as meditation, to produce extremely
powerful changes in ones consciousness which results in enhanced personal and
spiritual growth. They work by allowing you to enter a relaxed, receptive state of mind
with little effort and much more quickly than you could on your own. This enhances
your abilities to relax, focus and learn more readily. Your personal and spiritual goals
become clear and their fulfillment attainable in a shorter time frame.
Mind machines usually consist of a system of sound and lights which pulsate in a
specific rhythm to enhance the brains receptiveness to relaxation and new ideas.
The flickering of light and rhythm of sound can be traced to the beating of drums, the flickering flames of a
fire, the sound of waves coming ashore, the twinkling of stars which all help to induce a level of relaxation. Mind machines are simply light and sound systems that can stimulate similar responses from the brain.
Mind Machines utilize a natural state called entrainment. In entrainment, your brainwaves take on the same rhythm as the sound or light pulses it is exposed to. This slows down and focuses your brainwaves to the rhythm and the result is a feeling of relaxation and control.
